Executive recruiters are as important to corporate America as athletic scouts are to professional sporting teams. They can literally change the very fabric of a company with the people they bring to the forefront.
Tiffany Crenshaw is a shining example of this and a true specialist in her field who has impacted countless lives throughout her illustrious career. This is a story of hope and how a mother against-all-odds fights through the trials and tribulations of keeping her family in tact.

As a Engineering and Manufacturing recruiter, I’ve seen the impact that I have on personal lives and nothing pleases me more than when a parent of what use to be a two family income lands the job they’ve dreamed of and knowing that I was apart of that! Thanks for dangling the carrot – I’m ready for more!

My team and I have been long anticipating a tv show about recruiting
I find that it is important for recruiters and companies to understand that they are hiring an individual with a life not a resume with qualifications.
Many people can learn new professional skills quickly. What cannot be taught so easily are values. This show belies this truth.
I just hope that more companies come to understand this, and give candidates with 7 of the 10 qualifications a chance.
Look out Cecil B. DeMieux. Chris this looks like a great start.

Pretty compelling. Very few people outside the industry really grasp what we do or the urgency and complexity associated with the job. I think the trailer did a really nice job of sharing it and by making it a human interest story made it less clinical and more intereting to the “every day viewer”.

This has been one of the most cutting edge, creative, artistic project I’ve ever worked on. As a recruiter, it really demonstrates our profession in a positive real way. There is no acting going on here. The stars are being themselves. I am really looking forward to showcasing this at the 2010 NCASP Conference in May. Great Concept! I am biased but it’s amazing the impact, drama, intrigue that can be captured in an Executive Recruiting reality show. The stress of a rookie in high-commission sales, a tenured rock star recruiter, the relationship with some of the world’s leading companies, cold-call executive headhunting, short-listing, interview process, offer stage and negotiating……this could be an addictive show!

Looking forward to see how much is “glamorized” and what will be funny to watch what a lot of us do day in and day out.
Will we be seeing a montage of 2 weeks of 8 hour phone-conversation days and the subsequent scratched / ripped-up throat vocal cords?
It would be interesting if this takes the full “life cycle” of a candidate sourcing, from the sales contact and management, to 20 open job orders with that singular client and the organization and logistics of managing that many candidates and job orders..with a single client.

Here’s what I love about being a recruiter, my candidates and clients need me to be straight with them, good or bad. So I can be my straight forward self, and not have to apologize for it, because the people on the other end of it need it and expect it. Most good recruiters I know have an awesome ability to use their natural candor…and be thanked for it.
This clip is great. It really caught me when Tiffany told the person on the other end “Don’t blow it.” I’d like to see more of this. Good stuff Chris.

Production Quality = top notch
Script = good, it does the job a teacher should do = tease – however, the reason your audience NEEDS to follow-up to see the full production could be more compelling
Acting = good enough – they look like recruiters pretending to be actors vs. just plain good actors
Love it. I might just recommend softening the close ups at 28, 34 and 38 second marks. Otherwise, it’s awesome.

I live it everyday, and my best clients believe I have made their organizations better because of my work. Same with the candidates.
So I hope you will continue to share this message of how our profession is a cornerstone of corporate and personal growth and achievement. To use a tag line NAPS adopted that I love, our profession really is “Powering Business with People.”
This is really hot and reflects the excitement, momentum and culmination of a Recruiter’s work. I can’t wait to see the rest and I think a lot of people will be very intrigued by the opportunity to see what really goes on behind doors.

Very dramatic and insightful. As a recruiter for 24 years in the printing industry, most people have no idea how hard this business is or how difficult it is to earn our fees. I am a big proponent (?) of direct feedback. That said, my feedback is that the intro from icims was a teeny bit confusing and just dropped in too quickly ,the actress did well though.

As for the Top Recruiter bit; I love the pace of the promo, the main character is sharp, shrewd and not so overly confident that she is cocky but she displays self assurance and professionalism. And yeah, I sense that fabulous pressure of the job as well, nicely done

I hope that the show somehow address the challenging issues that face, Hiring Managers, Internal HR Pros, Internal Recruiters, Sourcers, External Resources, as well as Job Candidates. To represent this entire industry well, is a formative task . . . I expect showing the inherent drama to be easier than addressing the diverse complexities of all the stakeholders . . .that will be tough. The best of luck to all involved.
What a great concept. I hope they use “true” Recruiters that actually direct recruit candidates as opposed to those who use job boards to find resumes. I feel both candidates and employers will be very surprised when they see how much hard work goes into a true recruiting assignment and the effect we have on candidate lives and employer searches. I’ve also known and done business with Tiffany Crenshaw and Intellect Resources for years and can’t imagine a better person for the first show. Looking forward to seeing more!!!
