I thought that this would be good reality as long as there where happy ending. Being a recruiter myself I’m sure there will be plently of action that will keep the viewers happy.
I will be sure to keep an eye out
This is an excellent initiative! I am from Canada and I would be very interested in participating in the making of a french version of this show.
Also, I will add this link on my linked in and share it with my group discusion here in Quebec.
Again, great job, I am proud to be a recruiter!

Excellent video!, a great tool for any new or experienced Executive Recruiter. It explains and helps understanding the recruiting process from the very beginning.
I would definitely advise Executive Recruiters to show this video to their clients and help them understand how important it is to be 100% sure about the candidate they are presenting.
Great work, keep them coming.

Well done. Good content which is very believable.
Thank you,

Great video! Excellent content that is very relevant in the line of Recruiter’s profession. Good training material for new Recruiter hires.
Burning question : In Asia, where retention is always an issue. How does a Top Recruiter helps client retain talents beyond the warranty period?
Hope there’s more to come.
Thank you.

I absolutely love the human aspect to this video. As recruiters we are able to meet so many diverse and inspiring candidates every day! Opening doors and creating lasting connections is crucial to our success. Thanks for sharing and I hope to see more of these! Note: Would love to see more clips about the recruiter/client connection in this same fashion; i.e., emphasizing the human factor.
Recruiting 24/7 and loving it!
Jennifer
Great video. In the state our country is in now it would be great to have a show like this to dispell the myths about recruiters and recruiting companies and demonstrate the human side and show consultants that we are human and do really care about them and their families too. Good Luck and I will TIVO this as soon as it is on the air.

Really great job guys! Looking forward to what happens next!
Tiffany Crenshaw is inspiring! She has compassion and professionalism all in one. This film provides an inside look into the world of recruiting which can be misunderstood.
Kudos to Mez Media and Recruiter Earth for creating an awesome reality show/educational video for all to enjoy! I’m really looking forward to the next project after seeing the quality of this film.
Thank you for showing the placement process all the way through, moment by moment, day by day. You bring honor to the profession by showing the values that benefit everyone involved in it.
The reason we do this is how it is portrayed by Tiffany or at least it should be. There are thousands of success stories just like Tiffany’s in our shop and it reminds us to be proud of what we do and how many people we have mentored in their careers and helped them in their everyday lives.
This is an outstanding videofor both recruiters and clients. It highlights the professionalism of our business while showing the great service we
provide to both clients and candidates. From a recruiter who’s been in the business for many years, I think it helped to emphasize what makes all the hard work so worthwhile.
Thank you for sharing…this movie has motivated me to get back on the phones!
Its a great first draft, but lacks dramatic punch or tension. As you stated recruiters “can literally change the very fabric of a company with the people they bring to the forefront.” I don’t have a sense of the fabric of the company that the applicant changed nor is there enough of a feel for the applicant.
Also with your initial statement that “this is a story of hope and how a mother against-all-odds fights through the trials and tribulations of keeping her family in tact.” I don’t get enough of an emotional attachment to her plight.
I get we are told what is going on, but can we see through reenactments creating a better emotional entanglement with the players. More action and not so much a group of talking heads.
The ability of a recruiter to truly change the lives of the people they touch is remarkable and could be better told. If the intent is an educational video for new recruiters, it does give a sense of the process. But I do believe it needs more work to sell to a network or be the next reality TV show, if that is indeed the goal.
A great start!!
Interesting concept and excellent job making downtown Greensboro appear to be a much larger city.
This was a great beginning to a new reality show that many workers will personally relate to. Many professionals obtained their current careers with the assistance and support of a recruiter and appreciate the direction and guidance they received similar to that which Tiffany gave in this segment. In future episodes I would like to see more of the internal discussion between the candidate and their spouce pertaining to preparation and weighing the pros and cons of the opportunity. I would also like to see Tiffany giving the prep prior to the interview. Look forward to the next segment!
Regards Jon
It reminds me why I love my job. I make a difference in peoples lives. Companies get a great employee and the employee gets a better job. It is win/win.

This was an excellent example of why I am a corporate recruiter and have such a passion for this profession. To see the candidates fulfill their dream job is what keeps me motivated and the end result is seeing the satisfaction of working in a position that you truly love doing.
Great scripting and examples presented of an Executive Recruiting firm.
Very well done as a ‘pilot’ episode to capture both sides’ emotional input into the entire hiring process. I’ve been in industry for more than 30 years and the satisfaction of every placement I’ve made is expressed in this video. I hope you continue with this program and enlighten the rest of the business world on the value of a professional Recruiter.
Hats off to everyone who put their soul into this. Professionally done, and a nice intro for the rest of the world into the life of both the candidate and search professional. Proud to have you representing us with this peice.
The more I think about it, the more I like the Comedy angle. I’m picturing William Shatner as one of the recruiters. This could be hilarious.
I am a recruiter in Canada and was extremely impressed by your pilot. As others have commented, you bring honour respect and validity to our often maligned profession. In future episodes you might choose to bring in some of the many challenges faced in making a placement, and the tension and timing pressure associated with the process. The relocation of the canididate and the entire family seemed a bit too easy, with little sense of trepedation on Sepi’s part. Regardless, a great piece.
I would gladly support this project in any way possible.
Cheers.
Great job. As a recruiter in Washington, DC, it is refreshing and encouraging to withness our industry at its best. On the other hand, recruiters know all to well the pitfalls and challenges we face several times daily, and it might be interesting to see how other recruiters deal with those occasions. I’d also be very interested in you could explore the temporary/contract recruiting field, too!
Can’t wait to watch more episodes. Thanks!
I think that this is a great idea for a TV show. There are so many individuals who are looking for that “that right job”, and they will watch this show. I enjoy seeing the family life of the candidates.
This is a good intro to what we do, but I’d like to see more comparisons of the candidates that don’t get the jobs and why. It could give more depth to the show. Also, show some of the guidance we do with our clients as well. We provide a lot of advice to companies searching for a good cultural fit and a little bit about the negotiation process is key. As others said, some more about the relocation issues as well. Good initial introduction though.
I think the show was put together well. I think there are some other key issues that can be shown on the show in a little more detail such as: qualifying the candidate, salary negotiation, relocation discussion & research, the follow up that needs to be done on both the candidate & recruiter side with the client company just to name a few. As a 15 year recruiter I think the show could be a great training tool for young professionals trying to break into the business. Again great start I hope you get to follow through on the show.
Great video! Truly demonstrates the good in recruiting when done right. Great to show clients and candidates so they can see the value in recruiting services. We’ve seen plenty of training videos, but to see a real story with the actual people involved really makes it hit home.
Thanks for the reminder of why we do this!

Wow fantastic job guy’s!
I’m now going to send this to friends, family and others so they can finally know what I do:)
Keep up the stellar work, excellent representation of our profession!
Nicely done! I think that anyone and eveyone considering a career as an executive recruiter should see this piece. It was also a nice overview of the relationship between the candidate and the recruiter while still showing how critical it is to find the right fit for the client.
Fantastic!!!
So proud of you, Tiffany! It’s been a real pleasure getting to know you and your awesome team. I would only hope that people who watch this can emulate how you do business.
Peace,
Scott Love

This is a film I think all new recruiters should watch. It shows both the professional and the human side of what we do every day…
Great content – good fundamental recruiting shown!
Briliant idea, fantastic recrutment team, the leading woman is sharp. She is professional, and yet warm. Good to intrduve her family and her understanding of the big picture. Well done.
There certainly were several key points, as they relate to procedure, targeted in this presentation.
I would only say to perhaps lose the iCims mention in the first third of the show. Certainly I can understand the advert at the beginning due to their sponsorship but that’s where it should end in my view.
I’ll be interested to see where the show goes from here. Certainly all the placements can’t be that easy. If so it would ahve to be a fantasy and not a reality show.
Keep up the good work.
All the best,
Ben McGrath
Great job! Well done! Great insight into recruiting!
Interesting concept.
I really enjoyed the video. Great content and the selection of the leading lady was right-on.
Well done.
Very nice. During these times when our line of work is loaded with obstacles, it’s nice to be reminded of the positive changes that we can bring to both applicant and client company.
Love the video. It’s an Awesome ad for the search firm. More like a political convention ad for a presidential candidate. However, to be completely honest, it failed to address the complexities and challenges of conducting a search from the standpoint of all stakeholders – client company, candidate, and search firm.
Really great video, as a recruiter it makes you stop and reflect on the fantastic opportunities we have to impact others lives and there is no better feeling than when a great candidate gets that perfect job!
This was my idea, but unfortunately I sat on it.
I’m jealous!!! Great work!!!. Let me know if you are open to further discussions I have tons of other ideas for the show.
Good Luck with it!!

Great Video, you hit all the aspects of the recruiting operations. This is why recruiters love their jobs.
Great Job Everyone!
By far the best showing of what we as recruiters do for both our clients and candidates every day. It is nice to see I am not the only recruiter coaching my candidates on interview techniques, I love the explaination Tiffany gives (Big Picture + Your Role = Total Outcome) as the best way for candidates to present themselves.
Good start! Excellent content, You could use a male Co-Star such as myself.
Your next Episode might have a little adversity. Looking forward to it!!!
When does this hit ABC or CBS? In this economy we need stories like Sepi’s along with a few others each week in an episode on TV. I bet a lot of folks will watch. Great job.
Robert
Great Concept
The show has great potential. It’s an interesting concept. I think viewers would want more information as to how Tiffany became aware of Sepi as a candidate. Details regarding the other candidates considered by Tiffany’s staff would present a more well rounded program.
I just wanted to thank everyone here for leaving your comments. As one of the Executive Producers of Top Recruiter it certainly gives us a unique perspective that we value and will consider for future shows. I also wanted to let everyone know how each of us here, who have worked on the film, are thankful to have met and worked with Tiffany. She went above and beyond, always giving it her best, to see this project to fruition.
Great Job! You all should be commended. As a professional recruiter I could certainly see this working, I would only say down the road you would need to include both sides of the coin. This was a great story and well presented. It makes you proud to be a recruiter.
From an Actors point of view I would have like to see a bit of the struggle as well as the success. As you know this business is full of joy when it works but there is usually more of a challenge then what was shown. Negotiating salary, relocating, working with a Great Company with a lower budget, the candidates that don’t work or that should but just doesn’t happen. I think that would keep the believability. Those out there looking for work and those of us trying to get it for them know it’s not easy. Bravo to you all! Good Luck in your future shows.
Great idea…a new twist on the reality TV with a realistic and hot topic! Can’t wait to see whats next.
Great clip! Finally a reality show related to the field of Human Resources that may bring awareness to a vast audience about what the recruitment process is all about. Employers will get to see how important it is to take your time to select and hire the best person for the position.
If you ever need any extras, give me a call, I am in the HR field.

+1
This is fantastic as a spec. It’s quite obvious the work that went into it. Should this make it to TV (and I am hoping it will) it would be quite an education for viewers who unfortunately only have only atypical examples like The Office and Up In The Air as visuals.
Excellent job. Very professionally done and entertaining. Enjoyed it very much.
I have to admit that it almost brought a tear to my eye, and while I appreciate the effort that went into this, I’m sorry to say that after 24 years in this feast or famine, roller coaster rat race of a business, that it reminds me of why I have to make one final push and then get out and do something a little more creative. Gotta get back on the phone now, but thanks anyway for the feel good story.
As someone in the Talent Acquisition field, I love the idea.
I loved it! The end is amazing – that’s exactly why I’m in this industry
Good luck with the show!

Good post and this mail helped me alot in my college assignement. Gratefulness you as your information.
GREAT video. Unfortunately I wish you could have gotten more details into it. However this is great to use a Recruiting Video for new prospects. FANTASTIC job and it also is a Pratical reminder for seasoned Recruiters who forgot why they are in the business in the first place.
